Ciudad Victoria, Tam.- Club Correcaminos officially announced that Francisco Cortez will be the new technical director heading into Apertura 2024 of the Mx Expansion League.
Cortéz Rodríguez, 38 years old and born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, has experience in the Under 15, Under 17, TDP League, Premier League and Expansion categories in different institutions throughout his professional career, in the latter as Technical Assistant at Cancún FC.
He has been part of the training area with the Tuzos de Pachuca and recently held the position of Sports Director at Gavilanes de Matamoros, and later held the position of Technical Director at the same club.
In addition, he was a Technical Assistant at Club Atlético Atenas in the Second Division of Uruguay and coached the Alajuelense Under 20 team in Costa Rica.
His assistants will be Agustin “Pánuco” Gómez and Arturo Chávez Palomares, while Daniel Ipata will serve as physical trainer.
