Manchester City became champions of England for the fourth year in a row with a 3-1 victory over West Ham United. Coach Pep Guardiola’s team achieved a unique performance; never before has an English club won four consecutive national titles.
It could have been exciting in the 38th and final round of the Premier League, with Arsenal two points behind City, but it didn’t really happen. City quickly took a 2-0 lead, while Arsenal struggled against Everton.

Fifteen minutes after the break, Rodri put an end to the last doubts and shot City to 3-1. The goal led to an explosion of joy from City and also from coach Guardiola on the sidelines.

Thanks to a goal by Kai Havertz in the 89th minute, Arsenal won 2-1 against Everton and in Manchester, with Natham Aké as a substitute, a West Ham goal was disallowed due to handball. It didn’t matter anymore.

Klopp says goodbye with victory
Jürgen Klopp’s era at Liverpool is over. With Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo in the starting line-up and Ryan Gravenberch as a substitute, Liverpool ended the era with a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Reds were already assured of third place.
