On May 4, Ambassador Zhao Bin attended the opening ceremony of the first “China Enterprise Cup” Badminton Tournament. Nearly a hundred people attended the event, including Han Xiaofei, Counselor of the Embassy, ​​Pang Long, President of the Chinese Enterprises Association, the medical team aiding Congo, representatives of many Chinese enterprises, players, and spectators.

Ambassador Zhao said in his speech that the first “China Enterprise Cup” badminton competition is a large-scale sports event organized by the Chinese Enterprises Association in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The current development of China-Congo relations and practical cooperation in various fields cannot be separated from all compatriots in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The badminton competition was held in accordance with international badminton competition rules and consisted of five events: men’s singles, men’s doubles, men’s and women’s mixed doubles, women’s singles, and women’s doubles. There were about 60 people from the Embassy in Congo, the medical team aiding Congo, and many Chinese-funded companies. Players sign up to compete.
