Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do (Governor Kim Jae-wook) announced on the 15th that it won the military division’s overall championship at the 62nd Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Competition held in Gumi City from the 10th to the 14th.
Chilgok-gun participated in this competition with 284 athletes and 92 officials in 16 sports, and won first place in basketball, wrestling, badminton, and taekwondo, and also won prizes in tennis, volleyball, table tennis, and wrestling, successfully winning the military division championship once again.
