Chelsea admittedly it was a mess last season. Arrival Mauricio Pochettino can improve that situation.
Pochettino accepted the offer to coach Chelsea last year. He arrived after the Blues were ‘devastated’ in the previous season, after changing managers from Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, to Frank Lampard.
Arrival Pochettino admittedly could improve the situation at the club. Even though their appearance is still inconsistent, Chelsea in the Pochettino era is said to be better.
“When I arrived, the situation was quite messy, there were a lot of players. Mauricio gave orders and identity to the team. His work ethic was different,” said midfielder Enzo Fernandez, when interviewed by DSports.
“He changed everything, and in fact it was positive. The team became more serious and worked hard. That’s important on a day-to-day basis, and when the weekend comes you can see the difference,” said the midfielder Chelsea That.
Currently, Chelsea’s appearance is starting to improve. The Blue is in 7th position in the Premier League standings, struggling to finish in the European competition zone.
Chelsea collected 57 points, the same as Newcastle United in 6th place. Next, Enzo Fernandez et al will face Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday (16/5) early morning WIB.
