Champions League: when will the final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund take place?

The long-awaited finale is known. Exit Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, eliminated respectively by Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League, make way for the ultimate clash between the Germans and the Madrilenians. An unprecedented meeting at this stage of the competition which will take place in London, in the Wembley den, on June 1, at 9 p.m.

The poster is surprising. Not at all favorites against the Parisians, the teammates of Mats Hummels, the Dortmund captain, had a successful semi-final, with two particularly solid defensive performances. They also annihilated the offensive intentions of Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and the others, scoring a goal during each meeting to win peacefully.

The other semi-final was much more tense. After a high-level first leg match, which ended in a draw (2-2), Real Madrid and Bayern Munich offered a crazy second half this Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. While Alphonso Davies opened the scoring with a superb right-footed strike in the 68th minute, Joselu turned the game around in the dying seconds, proving that Madrid are immortal. They will therefore aim for a 15th Champions League title on June 1.
