Bangui May 17, 2024—(Ndjoni Sango). The world judo championship will take place from May 19 to 24 in Abu-Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. And the Central African Republic is represented by the two judokas Nadia Matchiko Guimendego in 63 kg women and Jason Patrick Ngawili Zacko in men.

Judo is one of the sporting disciplines practiced in the Central African Republic by several people, mainly young people. This sporting discipline has made the Central African Republic known throughout the world, thanks to the various girls and boys athletes.

And in this period of the race to qualify for the next Summer Olympic Games in Paris, scheduled for July, some talented athletes from the Central African Republic are looking for ways and means to hold the bull by the horns in order to win the qualifying tickets.

It is with this in mind that Nadia Matchiko Guimendego as a lady and Jason Patrick Ngawili Zacko, after moments of preparation, are selected to participate on behalf of the Central African Republic, in the Judo world championship scheduled for May 19 to 24 in progress in Abu-Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

It must be said that this world championship comes a few weeks before the start of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris scheduled from July 26 to August 11. Which is an opening for the Central African representatives to obtain a qualification in the event of classification in the medal ranking.
