Cavaliers Face Uncertainty With Donovan Mitchell’s Injury Ahead of Game 4 Against Celtics

After losing in the third game of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics, the Cavaliers now prepare for the fourth game with the desire to even the series, something for which they do not know if they will be able to count on Donovan Mitchell.

The Cleveland star has been without a doubt the best of his team on the hardwood since the playoffs began. Therefore, seeing now that he could not be in Game 4 against the greens due to a muscle strain in his left leg puts those from Ohio in suspense, who are clear that without his presence it would be extremely difficult for them to be able to stand up to Jayson Tatum and company.

To be exact, Mitchell is averaging 29.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists in the Cavs’ 10 postseason games, including six consecutive games scoring at least 25 points, something only LeBron James had done in the history of the franchise.

Along with the guard, Cleveland maintains the doubt of Jarrett Allen, who with a bruised rib has not played since the fifth game of the first round series against the Orlando Magic. If he returns he could be an important boost for his team.
