Carlos Alcaraz Dominates Thiago Seyboth Wild in ATP Masters 1000 Tournament in Madrid

Third in the world rankings Carlos Alcaraz left his opponent in the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid Thiago Seyboth Wild no chance.

Especially in the second set, Carlos Alcaraz initially rushed past his opponent Thiago Seyboth Wild like a force of nature: last year’s Wimbledon champion won 6:3, 6:3 in the third round of the combined event in Madrid after just 76 minutes of play the Brazilian and are easily in the round of 16. The number two in the tournament will meet the German Jan-Lennard Struff, who defeated the French Ugo Humbert in two sets.

At the beginning, the South American was able to keep up with the Spanish whirlwind, and a decisive break to 4:3 paved the way for winning the set. In the second round, Alcaraz raced away from his opponent with the turbo switched on, before sand got into the 20-year-old’s gear towards the end of the game.

Alcaraz was already leading 5-0 and Seyboth Wild could have been given the maximum penalty. However, the temporary mustachioed man managed to play a service game in the second set and was then able to take the top favorite’s serve to 30. Seyboth Wild even increased the score to 3:5 before Alcaraz was finally able to save.
