Excellent performance by the Burgos judoka Gael Oma, from Judo Club Suzaku, in it Spanish Cadet and Children’s Championship disputed in Pamplonain which it has been done with a brilliant silver medal in the -60 kilos cadet category. A national runner-up that was just one step away from having been a Spanish champion title, which it was very close to.
Gael Oma He overcame one by one the different qualifying rounds that he had to face, first against Marcos Lizana, from Madrid; then before him too Óscar Manso from Madrid, and finally in front of Valencian Lucas Doménech. In this way it was presented by right in the grand final of its category, but in it lost to the representative of the Canary Islands, Andrew Mendoza, thus having to settle for a no less important silver medal as runner-up of Spain.

This great result puts the gold brooch to the excellent season of Gael Oma, who participated in the Spanish Championship in his own right as second place in the National Cadet Ranking. In addition, he was selected as a member of the Spanish team that played the Cadet European Cup which was held in Fuengirola (Malaga)in which he obtained a meritorious 9th place. In fact, it is currently positioned in seventh place in the European Cup Ranking.

She did it in children’s category of -44 kilosin which after several hard fights he obtained the seventh position.
