Borussia Dortmund has secured the services of Ecuadorian Justin Lerma – from the 2026/27 season.

On Monday, BVB confirmed the transfer of 16-year-old Lerma from Ecuadorian first division club Independiente del Valle. However, the teenager will only be contracted for the 2026/27 season after he turns 18, as the Westphalians write on their website.
Until then, Lerma, who made his debut in the top division of his home country Ecuador this season at the age of 15 and made his starting debut last weekend, will continue to develop at his current club.
