Bora-Hansgrohe will be called Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe from the 2024 Tour de France

Red Bull continues its conquest of sport and invests in cycling. The Austrian group and the Bora-Hansgrohe team announced on Thursday that they had sealed a partnership agreement which will begin at the Tour de France this summer.

The German team, which includes the Slovenian Primoz Roglic in its ranks, will be called Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe from the Grande Boucle, which will start on June 29 from Florence (Italy). “The goal is to establish ourselves at the top of our sport,” the team said in a press release. This winter, the energy drink brand became the majority shareholder, at 51%, in the company of Ralph Denk, the manager who holds the license for the Bora-Hansgrohe team. In 2025, Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe will also launch a program aimed at riders under the age of 23 to make the transition from juniors to the World Tour squad.
