A great baseball fan, Louis Plamondon will be the guest of honor, this Saturday, 10 a.m., at the La Bouff-TiFail restaurant, at the third lunch talk of the Panthéon des Sports in Sorel-Tracy.

There we will be able to meet three “legends” from the days of the Expos Claude Raymond (thrower), Claude Hubert (who personified the YOUPPI mascot) and Fernand Lapierre (ex-organist of nos Amours).

Messrs Raymond and Hubert will have books for sale on site which they will be happy to autograph.

The Sports Pantheon will take the opportunity to honor a personality among the audience as the 3rd great ambassador after Messrs. Pierre Mondou and Richard Sévigny, recipients last March.

One of the most famous photographers for the Journal de Montréal covering the Expos in the 1980s and 1990s, Pierre-Yvon Pelletier will also be there, as will Dino Masanotti, one of the best softball shortstops in Montreal. and excellent hockey player, winner of 12 championships including one in junior AAA hockey in Contrecœur.
