Baja California Teams Start Strong at CONADE 2024 Nationals

With three victories and one defeat, the Baja Californian teams began the path towards medals.

Zapopan, Jalisco.- With the clear objective of achieving the desired medals, the Baja California 5 baseball team started activities at the CONADE 2024 Nationals.

The teams from the 29th state made their presentation this Thursday with a two-set victory over Sonora in the Senior Youth category, while the Minor Youth category succumbed in three sets to Guerrero in duels played at the Metropolitan Sports Center of Zapopan, Jalisco.

This May 17, on the second day of the discipline, the Baja Californians started the morning with victories. The Minor Youth category defeated the representative of Jalisco in two sets, showing that they are ready to reach the final phases of the championship.

For its part, the Juvenil Mayor team, led by Guadalupe Ayón and Mario Pérez, knew how to impose its game and win in 2 sets against the Oaxaca team.

“We feel very good today, my team and I are ready to fight for the medal, we are going for everything,” commented the player who is a member of the minor youth representative, Caleb Blanco.
