Austrian Archer Elisabeth Straka Wins Pre-Olympic Women’s Archery Tournament in Essen

It ended Pre-Olympic individual women’s archery tournament in Essen (Germany)a location where the European Championships will also take place from tomorrow.

The Austrian won Elisabeth Straka who, consequently, gave the Olympic pass to Austria: a great run having beaten the Israeli Mikaella Moshe 6-0 in the quarter-finals, the same score with which she beat the Dutch Quinty Roeffen in the semi-finals and then in the final the Estonian Reena Parnat 6-2.

Reena Parnat which took the silver medal and in turn allowed Estonia to obtain the individual Olympic pass for the Olympics. Bronze which was instead won by the Turkish woman Elif Berra Gokkir who, after 5-5, overcame the Dutch Roeffen in the shoot-off (10-9): for Turkey therefore comes the first pass for the women’s team after three passes collected in the men’s sector.
