28 athletes from ‘the surf’ participate in the Special Olympics. They left for La Louvière on Wednesday.
The athletes and their supervisors will travel to La Louvière from May 8 to 11. “The time of year when many clients surpass themselves in various disciplines,” says communications manager Axelle Matton. Badminton, table tennis, swimming, bowling, horse riding, netball and floorball competitions are on the programme. “After a year of hard training and impatient waiting, the athletes are determined not only to compete, but to shine. They are ready to show everyone what they have to offer. And whatever the results, everyone around them is already incredibly proud and proud.”
