On April 30, 2024, the 2024 Anhui Provincial Student Sports League College Badminton Competition Finals were held grandly at the Anhui University Gymnasium. Athletes from colleges and universities in Anhui Province gathered at Anhui University to share in the Anhui Provincial College badminton sports event. A total of 684 athletes from 78 universities across the province participated in this competition. The number of participating universities and athletes reached a record high. Anhui University of Information Engineering selected a total of 10 athletes to compete.

After 6 days of fierce competition, the badminton men’s team of Anhui University of Information Engineering went all the way, defeating Chizhou College and Anhui Engineering University to qualify for second place in the group, and then defeated the badminton team of the 2022 15th Provincial Games in the cross-elimination round of the group. The Hefei University of Technology team, the men’s team champion, successfully entered the top eight. In the subsequent competition, two students, Hu Chaoming, the men’s first singles player, and Fu Yichen, the men’s second singles player, were injured. In line with the educational principles of “student-oriented” and “people-oriented”, at the same time, the competitive spirit of “tenacious struggle” and “never give up” was adopted. spirit, and finally finished the race successfully.
