Alexander Zverev meets Nuno Borges
After two convincing performances, Alexander Zverev will face Nuno Borges in the round of 16 in Rome on Tuesday. The Portuguese had to work much harder to reach the round of 16, as he only won twice in the tiebreak of the third set.
The path to the final seems clear for Zverev after Novak Djokovic’s early exit. Also because he is probably playing his best tennis of the clay court season so far in the Italian capital.
Zverev and Borges will meet for the first time on Tuesday.
