Alcaraz Discusses Shared Dream of Playing Doubles with Nadal at 2024 Olympics

Asked whether he had discussed with Nadal their shared dream of playing doubles together at the 2024 Olympics, “we talked about it a little,” Alcaraz replied. “If everything goes well, as I already said, we will play doubles at the Olympics. But until then, there are many weeks left,” he observed.

“We said to ourselves that it would be great if we played a tournament (together) before. But it’s going to be difficult,” added the world No. 3. “On clay, the next tournaments are Rome and Roland-Garros, two really important tournaments for us in singles, and as we are not in our best physical condition, it will be difficult to play a tournament with the Games Olympics.”
