Three more players with Alabama football roots have signed their first contracts after being selected in the NFL Draft last month, according to the league’s transactions report for Tuesday.
Former Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton signed with the Cincinnati Bengals after being chosen 80th on April 26.
Former Auburn cornerbacks DJ James (Spanish Fort) and Nehemiah Pritchett (Jackson) signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Pritchett was the 136th selection and James was the 192nd selection on April 27.

Burton signed a four-year contract worth about $5.821 million.
Pritchett signed a four-year contract worth about $4.399 million.
James signed a four-year contract worth about $4.204 million.

All drafted players receive four-year contracts.
The values of those contracts are based on the pick number, the NFL’s salary cap of $255.4 million for the 2024 season and this year’s rookie compensation pool in a formula spelled out in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and its players association.
