The European Football Championship will take place without David Alaba. As Spanish media, including “Relevo” and “Marca”, reported, the ÖFB captain had to undergo an arthroscopy on his left knee in Innsbruck and is therefore definitely not an issue for the finals.
Alaba tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee on December 17th, and even without the setback, missions in Germany would have been very unrealistic.
