Ajax and Feyenoord are in a battle for Chelsea striker

Feyenoord and Ajax have become embroiled in a battle for the signature of Omari Hutchinson, Voetbal International reports. The twenty-year-old Chelsea attacker, who was loaned out to Ipswich Town, which was promoted to the Premier League last season, can leave London.
English sources know that Feyenoord currently has the best credentials. The Rotterdammers have already reported to London to discuss the contract situation and would like to take over him permanently.
The fact that Feyenoord has the better credentials is partly because Champions League football will be played in De Kuip next season. There is interest from Germany from VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Hutchinson is a twenty-year-old winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder. At the age of 12, the Jamaican took part in a tournament in South London organized by Brazilian football legend Pelé, who praised Hutchinson for his skills.
He went through the youth academy of Chelsea, Charlton Athletic and Arsenal, before making his professional debut at Chelsea last year. A year earlier, he had already been on the bench at Arsenal for an FA Cup match with Nottingham Forest.
In July 2022, Hutchinson rejoined Chelsea for a fee that was never publicly disclosed. He made his professional debut in January last year, when he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 home loss to Manchester City.
Last season, Hutchinson agreed to go on loan to Ipswich Town. At the promoted Championship club he scored 11 goals and 6 assists in 50 official matches. In February he was voted EFL Championship Player of the Month.
Ipswich Town were promoted directly to the Premier League by finishing second in the Championship. Hutchinson still has a contract with Chelsea until next summer. It is not known what it will cost.
