AJ Brown Signs Record-Breaking Three-Year Contract Extension with Philadelphia Eagles

Wide receiver AJ Brown has agreed to a three-year contract extension with Philadelphia Eagles, reports reporter Adam Schefter of ESPN.

This extension will bring him remuneration of 96 million, including 84 million which is guaranteed. That amount exceeds the $77 million guaranteed Amon-Ra St. Brown recently received from the Detroit Lions.

The 32 million annual average constitutes the highest average for a player in this position.

The deal comes nearly two years after the Eagles acquired Brown from the Tennessee Titans in the draft and then signed him for $100 million for four years.

Brown, 26, had a career-high 106 pass receptions for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns last season, his second consecutive campaign where he was invited to the Pro Bowl as an Eagles player.

Brown’s contract comes less than two weeks after the Eagles also signed star receiver DeVonta Smith to a three-year, $75 million contract extension.
