Aaron Rodgers Set to Make Prime Time Return with New York Jets Against San Francisco 49ers

After being injured all of last season, Aaron Rodgers already knows the date of his official return to the field with the New York Jets. He will do it again in Prime Time and with a duel against the NFC champions, the San Francisco 49ers.

Levi’s Stadium is ready to see Brock Purdy at the controls again and his running attack led by Christian McCaffrey. In addition, Robert Saleh returns home, although now with the colors of the Big Apple team. The duel will be on Monday, September 9 at 8:20 p.m. ET (7:20 p.m. CT and 5:20 p.m. PT).

Saleh was San Francisco’s defensive coordinator for four years, where he led a defense led by Nick Bosa, and which reached Super Bowl LIV, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now that Rodgers has recovered, Saleh is confident that the Jets can put the negative record behind them and be able to compete in the American Conference, since last year they had one of the best defenses in the league.
