The sportswear company Fanatics filed a lawsuit Saturday against Arizona Cardinals rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., son of legendary Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison. The fourth pick in the last draft allegedly violated the terms of a contract he signed with the company in May 2023.

In pursuit, Fanatics mentions that Harrison would have refused to respect his obligations and that he would have publicly affirmed that the contract does not exist. According to information from the ESPN network, the agreement would be worth to MHJ around a million dollars in exchange for the signing of autographs, sports cards and clothing worn in matches.

The Harrison clan is reportedly selling photos for $99.99 to $149, jerseys for $249.99 and helmets for up to $549.99 on the site The Official Harrison Collection’sreports ESPN.

The lawsuit also specifies that the 21-year-old receiver allegedly told Fanatics that a major competitor would have offered him a larger amount of money in return for the same type of services and that other collectible card companies would have made him competitive offers. Harrison also reportedly asked Fanatics to match or exceed the offer of this other big player.

Harrison still has not signed an agreement with the NFL Players Association, which would allow him to do business with 85 companies.
