The Judo Club Cesena 1964, one of the first judo schools founded in Romagna, will celebrate sixty years of activity on June 2nd with a big party that will involve all the students.

“It will be an opportunity to share the technical and didactic progression that contributes to forming the personality and sociability of the children and young people who attend our courses – comments president Luca Comandini -, accompanying them on the adventure of youth to grow up together. During this event, our teachers will present the students with graduation diplomas and new belts.”

The history of the Judo Club Cesena 1964 began thanks to master Costantino Altana, who opened the first judo dojo in Cesena, with the ambition of disseminating the teaching of this noble art. Over the years there have been numerous students who have participated in the training and who have achieved the important degree of black belt thanks to the passion for the discipline that the teachers who have succeeded over time have been able to transmit.

“Currently – continues Comandini – our technical director is master Roberto Urbini, while the administrative management of the courses is entrusted to master Filippo Tamburello. However, the Judo Club Cesena 1964 also makes use of the collaboration and consultancy of high-level masters such as Maurizio Velastri of the Emilia Romagna Regional Commission. We can forget the valuable contribution of technical teachers such as teacher Yamile Labarsena, former champion of the Republic of Cuba, now an Italian citizen and teacher recognized by the Italian National Federation (Fijlkam). thanks goes to all the technical teachers who participate with dedication in the training: Enrico Tamburello, Andrea Nardi and Luca Savini. Our dojo also offers Aikido and self-defense courses with qualified instructors”.
