Marco Reus: Despite the many injuries, he is a special player

It will probably take a very long time until a Dortmund professional reaches such heights again. The fact that, despite his loyalty to the club, he never became the big favorite of the masses is part of Reus’ history and personality, as is the excessive number of setbacks that he had to endure and that cost him over 200 competitive games in the BVB jersey.

What Reus managed to achieve in his career should therefore be valued all the more highly. What proves Reus’ unique quality is what a special football player he has become, even though he had to suffer the injuries.
