On Tuesday 14 May 2024, at 11.30 am in the Representative Hall of Palazzo Tursi, the 34th “International Judo Tournament – Genoa City of Colombo” . It is organized by the Marassi Judo Sports Center and is scheduled from 17 to 19 May 2024 at the Stadium facility in Genoa.
The estimated participation is around 1200 athletes from 240 clubs arriving from all over Italy together with delegations from Azerbaijan, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Poland, Romania, the Principality of Monaco, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Hungary .
The “International Judo Tournament – Genoa City of Colombo”, included in the schedule of events of “Genoa 2024 European Capital of Sport”, is a showcase for many young people who wish to stand out in a high-level international youth context.
The event enjoys the patronage of the Liguria Region, the Municipality of Genoa, the national and regional CONI, takes place under the aegis of the Italian Judo Wrestling Karate Martial Arts Federation (FIJLKAM) and is historically included within the national federal circuit ” Men’s and Women’s Grand Prix Cadets and Juniors.
