TURIN – On May 2, starting from 2.30 pm, on the third floor of the Green Pea shopping center in via Ermanno Fenoglietti 20, Lingotto area, in Turin, the presentation of the Tournament of Regions will take place, with the simultaneous draw of the groups 2024, the largest youth event of the year for the Italian Baseball Softball Federation, which will take place from 6 to 9 June in Piedmont with the organization of the FIBS Regional Committee led by Sabrina Olivero and the coordination of Federal Councilor Marco Mannucci.
Avigliana, Castellamonte, Fossano, La Loggia, Pinerolo, Settimo Torinese and Turin will be the seven locations involved, in which sports facilities the matches of the five competing categories will be played, Little League Baseball (U12), Junior League Baseball (U15), Senior League Baseball (U18), Little League Softball (U13), and Junior League Softball (U15).
The journalist Matteo Gandini will present and mediate the event, which will be attended by the Federal President Andrea Marcon, Fabrizio Ricca Councilor for Sport of the Piedmont Region, Andrea Archinà Mayor of Avigliana, Pasquale Mazza Mayor of Castellamonte, Domenico Romano Mayor of La Loggia, Daniele Volpatto Sports councilor of Settimo Torinese. On this occasion, one of the sponsors of the 2024 Regions Tournament will be made official. The event will be broadcast live via the FIBS Channel YouTube channel.
