Organized by the Argentine Confederation of said sport and the support of the city’s Secretariat of Tourism and Innovation, Culture and Sports, Villa Carlos Paz will host the 2024 National Apertura Judo Championship from today, Thursday, May 2 to Sunday, May 5.
This competition, which will bring together more than 1,400 judokas from all over Argentina, will be held at the Arena stadium, on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The categories in competition will be: children, cadets, junior, senior kyu novices and kyu graduates, from all the provinces of the country.
The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, May 3 from 3 p.m. with the presence of municipal authorities, organizers and athletes.
It should be noted that this event will be broadcast live by TyC Sports through the TyC Sports Play platform, on Saturday from 5 p.m.
Those interested in enjoying a high-level sporting spectacle can come to the aforementioned stadium, with free entry.
