On May 24, the “Sports Lottery Cup” 2024 Ankang City Workers’ Badminton Tournament kicked off in Ankang High-tech Zone.
The event is hosted by Ankang Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, and co-organized by Ankang High-tech Zone Education and Sports Bureau and Ankang Badminton Association. The event is divided into two groups: enterprise and county. The results will be based on the comprehensive scores of men’s doubles and mixed doubles of each team. The competition is expected to last for 2 days. A total of 36 teams and more than 280 athletes from various counties (cities, districts) and municipal agencies, enterprises and institutions will participate in the competition.
At the competition site, the contestants were full of energy and high morale, showing superb skills and excellent competitive state on the court. They swung their rackets to hit the ball, moved flexibly, and every wonderful smash and save won applause and cheers from the audience.
The event fully demonstrated the good mental outlook of the city’s cadres and workers, allowing everyone to feel the joy of sports, enhance mutual friendship, and cultivate healthy interests in their spare time from busy work, so that they can better devote themselves to work and life with abundant physical strength, vitality and energy, and use the spirit of sports to gather positive energy for the city’s economic and social development.
In recent years, the mass sports atmosphere in Ankang High-tech Zone has shown a strong trend, and remarkable results have been achieved in the construction of sports facilities, organization of sports activities and dissemination of sports culture. Ankang High-tech Zone will continue to increase investment and support for mass sports, hold more and more diverse sports events and activities, provide more opportunities for employees and the public to participate in sports, and promote the sustainable development of national fitness.
