Success for the young promises of Marabadminton (Maracalagonis badminton team) in the fifth edition of the “Spring Tournament” which took place in Misterbiancomunicipality of the metropolitan city of Catania.
Melissa Concas won the under 13 girls’ singles draw (score 21-12/21-3) and the under 13 mixed doubles draw (21-16/21-9). Excellent results for Rita Pusceddu who won on three fronts: she won the under 17 women’s singles (15-21/21-19/21-14), the women’s doubles (21-2/21-3) with Noemi Concas and the under 17 mixed doubles with Davide Pinna (21-7/21-8).
Davide Pinna, who won the mixed doubles with Rita Pusceddu, reached the semifinals in the under 17 men’s singles (losing 21-13/21-11). Noemi Concas, as well as in the women’s doubles with Rita Pusceddu, achieved success in the under 19 mixed doubles and reached the under 17 singles semi-final. Arianna Feliziani reached the semifinals in the under 17 singles.
