Young Judo Champions from Bruz Reach National Level

Anna Retit-Zastwny and Adèle Pecot, two young girls from Bruz aged 14, are regional judo champions, each in their category. They are therefore qualified to participate at the national level. If Anna has been doing judo since she was a child, Adèle started at the age of 10. I was encouraged by a cousin who was doing it, she explains. Anna evolves in minimal. She has already been twice departmental and regional champion. During this second participation in France, she finished 3rd on March 23 in Villebon-sur-Yvette. Judo and competitions are my whole life. The young girl, currently in 4th grade at the Pierre-Brossolette college in Bruz, is thinking of completing a 3rd year in sports studies at the Anne-de-Bretagne establishment in Rennes. I would ultimately like to join the hope center.

A complicity links these two female judokas

She passed on her passion for judo to Adèle. In this sport, I like the respect, the mutual help and the fact of being able to let off steam while following the rules, says the latter. At the recent championship competition at the national level, bringing together cadets of all categories in Paris, Adèle did not achieve any results. I didn’t have too many goals. I am saving myself for the month of May when I will compete in the French Cup with cadets 1, in Ceyrat, in Puy-de-Dôme. I’m aiming for the podium. Also enrolled in 3rd grade at Pierre-Brossolette college, she became friends with Anna. Judo reinforced this feeling. Very close, they both train together, encouraging each other. We owe our success to our coach Théo Lefeuvre! they exclaim with great laughter. However, the two friends are not the only ones to shine on the tatami. On April 6, the young Paul Racapé, aged 11, became champion of Ille-et-Vilaine in Bain-de-Bretagne. He is therefore qualified for the regional championship which will take place in Quimperlé on May 26.
