“You make us proud”: the PSG ultras thank their players after the victory in Marseille

“Victory in inferiority, warrior mentality, you make us proud”. This Wednesday, on the sidelines of the semi-final of the Coupe de France against Stade Rennais, the Collectif Ultras Paris displayed a banner to celebrate PSG’s victory in the clasico against OM last Sunday.

Luis Enrique’s players defeated Marseille despite the expulsion of Lucas Beraldo in the 40th minute of the match. Paris Saint-Germain finally took the lead in the second half, thanks to the Portuguese Vitinha and Gonçalo Ramos.

This Wednesday, the capital’s team can reach the final of the Coupe de France, during which it could join Olympique Lyonnais, who qualified this Tuesday against Valenciennes. To do this, Kylian Mbappé and his partners must first overcome Stade Rennes, coached by Julien Stéphan.

Paris Saint-Germain have not reached the final of the Coupe de France since 2021, the date of their last victory in the competition, against Monaco. This Tuesday at a press conference, Luis Enrique recalled that the prospect of the title generated additional motivation among his players.
