Yellow Vigilance in Effect for Strong Winds in Northern France on April 15

Yellow vigilance is in effect this Monday, April 15 between 5 p.m. and midnight. The wind will blow across the whole of Alsace. According to the forecasts of Meteo Francethe gusts may reach up to 100 km/h. It is mainly the northern part of France which is concerned. Three departments of Hauts-de-France are still on orange alert for strong winds and floods.

Some precautions to take

The Bas-Rhin prefecture reminds that “If necessary, it is advisable to limit your travel as much as possible and to avoid all walks in the forest. For city dwellers, it will also be necessary be careful of falling objects miscellaneous. It is also recommended to secure sensitive objects securely to gusts of wind.”
