On May 4 and 5, the Clermont badminton club Volant des Dômes will organize for the second time in its history play-offs for accession to Nationale 1, a level which corresponds to the French D2.
This major event for Puydômois badminton will take place at the Edith Tavert sports center, boulevard Saint-Jean in Clermont-Ferrand, on Saturday May 4 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon.

These play-offs will bring together the top six groups of Nationale 2 who will engage in a fierce battle in their quest for accession to the higher division.
For the Volant des Dômes, it will be much more than a simple home tournament. This is a second chance to seize, after having come close to promotion to Nationale 1 during the 2022 season, marked by a defeat in the mixed gold.
The long-awaited rise would be historic for the Clermont club, which has never reached this level since its founding in 1993.
