Guilty of having thrown a ball into the stands after the victory of his Spurs team against the Knicks (130-126), Victor Wembanyama was fined this Sunday by the league.

Welcome to USA Wemby! The French international pivot, who arrived this summer at Spurs, has just been fined 23,175 euros by the American league for throwing a ball into one of the stands at the Frost Bank Center in New San Antonio.

I told myself it would pass.

The facts occurred on the night of Friday to Saturday, during the victory of his Spurs team against the New York Knick (130-126). After his sanction, the Frenchman spoke: “‘No it’s OK.’ I started it to please someone. Not to hurt or anything. It was just funny.”
