Vendsyssel Elite Badminton Seeks Marketing Agreement for 2024-2025 Season

Vendsyssel Elite Badminton has applied to Frederikshavn Municipality to conclude a marketing agreement for the club’s league team for the 2024-2025 season.

Vendsyssel Elite Badminton informs that the team association between Frederikshavn Badminton Club, Skagen Badminton Club and Hjørring Badminton Club is playing in the country’s best league for the 19th year in a row.

The club also informs that it has qualified for the semi-finals for the 8th year in a row and has become Danish champions in 2022 and 2023. This season, the club will play for DM bronze at home in Arena Nord in Frederikshavn.

The club strives to create an attractive training environment that attracts talented players, and includes, among other things, in collaboration with the Sports Academy Frederikshavn on talent development.

Upon entering into a marketing agreement, Frederikshavn Municipality will be made visible through printing on the players’ clothing, gang advertising in Arena Nord, live streaming, various media such as TV Nord, Nordjyske and local online newspapers, on the website, in match programs and match advertisements.

In the previous season, the municipality provided a marketing grant of DKK 222,500 to Vendsyssel Elite Badminton. The club applies for the same amount for the new season.

In 2024, the budget has set aside DKK 1,110,310 for marketing subsidies for elite sports. Marketing agreements are decided by the Finance Committee. Prior to the meeting of the Finance Committee on 17 April, the executive secretariat recommends that a marketing agreement of DKK 222,500 be entered into with Vendsyssel Elite Badminton with consideration as stated.
