It starts again this weekend the championship Under 18 Legnano Baseball Softball which continues the project started last season in collaboration with the Bulls. The roster boasts experienced players who have already played at this level as well as new elements promoted from the Under 15s who will have the opportunity to gain experience. «At the basis of everything – the company explains – is the synergy created between the two companies of Legnano and Rescaldina».
The team manager will be Gerardo Garcia (Bulls), assisted by Arnaldo Iznaga Chavez (Legnano). The pitching coach will be our Lazaro Ramon Cordon Arruebarrena, known as Papo, while Luigi La Rosa from the Bulls will complete the staff. «This year’s objective – the company specifies – is for the kids to have fun and improve with a staff of four people of the highest quality to take care of all the technical aspects of the fundamentals».
The national championships
We start tomorrow with the Under 18 baseball team playing Ares at 4pm. At 7.30pm it will be the turn of the Under 12s, still at home but against Codogno of the same age. Two other appointments on Sunday: at 10.30 am a trip to Bovisio for the Under 15s while at 3 pm the Under 13 softball team built together with Malnate will debut on the New Bollate pitch.
