Ops he did it again: Tiger Woods al Masters Tournament 2024 writes a new historical page of golf. The Californian champion made the cut for the 24th time in a row in Georgia, setting yet another record. No one before him had ever succeeded in this feat.
The 15-time Major champion, with a par of 72 (par) out of a total of 145 strokes (73 72, +1) secured the pass for the final phase of the most iconic event in the world of international golf. Although far from the top positions, after a brilliant first lap Woods achieved his first goal thanks to his golden hands.
The Big Cat in 2023, before retiring due to injury during the third round, he had equaled the record of Gary Player (1959-1982) and Fred Couples (1983-2007). A year later, despite the many physical problems, here he is, tenacious in overcoming those two sacred monsters of the sport.
Woods, who the green jacket he won it five times (the first in 1997, the last in 2019) he can smile. At his 26th Masters, 29 years after his debut (in 1995 on his debut he was the best amateur in the competition), he received yet another standing ovation from the patrons.
