The season of Thibaut Courtois is undoubtedly the worst of his career. The Belgian goalkeeper was seriously injured during pre-season training in August.
An injury to the cruciate ligament of the knee which had kept him from the field for many months. As he got closer to a return, he reinjured his meniscus…in his other knee.
In addition to his constant squabble with the coach of the Red Devils Domenico Tedesco and the Federation, Courtois therefore had no choice but to concentrate on his rehabilitation.
