The Tour du Doubs neutralized after a fall of three riders

The race might not have resumed. Ten minutes after the start of the Tour du Doubs, the Spanish team Kern Pharma lost three riders in a heavy fall near the town of Combes. The race was neutralized for forty minutes to allow emergency services to intervene.

Evacuated by ambulance, Iñigo Elosegui Momene (26 years old) and Unai Iribar Jauregi (24 years old) were transported to the Pontarlier CH. The third runner, Pau Miquel Delgado (23 years old), was airlifted to the emergency room of Besançon University Hospital.
