München – The search for a successor to Thomas Tuchel is increasingly becoming a master’s test for Bavaria’s still newly appointed sports director Max Eberl. Top candidate Xabi Alonso has already decided to stay at Bayer Leverkusen, and Sebastian Hoeneß, who has also been traded, has extended his contract with VfB Stuttgart. Now Eberl has to cross the next name off his list!
Most recently, the current Austrian national coach Ralf Rangnick was linked with a move to Munich.
