The Points Drought: A Lucrative MLB Betting Strategy

Have you been monitoring my work for a long time? If so, you are clearly familiar with one of my most lucrative major league baseball betting systems called “The Points Drought”.

This is one of the very few systems I use to select big favorites. However, it has done the job in such an amazing way, as it has allowed me to accumulate a lot of profit in recent years. Last year we went 36-6, while this season we have a 6-1 record.

First let me tell you all its secrets. First, you should only focus on overseas teams whose moneyline is higher than 2.50 in decimal odds.

Then, if one of these teams has lost its last two matches by scoring two points or less in each of these defeats, you must bet AGAINST them. In other words, we are banking on a big home favorite every time the away team has struggled offensively in recent days.

With that said, let’s direct our attention to the Miami Marlins. They act as a visiting club today and are considered big underdogs. Additionally, they have been shut out in each of their last two games.

So, following the rules of the lucrative “Point Drought” betting strategy, my main pick of the day is the Atlanta Braves.

But wait! I decided to make an exception by taking the Braves with odds of -1.5. I really hope I’m not haunted by this decision. If they win the game by one point I will be really pissed because it will mean a setback for this bet despite Atlanta winning.

Sixto Sanchez will get the start for Miami. He has barely pitched in the last three years due to shoulder issues. He surprised many by breaking through the formation. Hats off to him!

He will start the game today after being forced out of the bullpen. He maintained a shameful 6.14 ERA. Additionally, totaling three strikeouts and that many walks in over seven innings of work is very concerning. Facing the Braves in Atlanta will be an impossible task for him.

Meanwhile, Reynaldo Lopez continues his impressive 2024 campaign. Can you believe he’s allowed just one earned run in 18 innings? I just hope he doesn’t take the Marlins for granted. Otherwise, he should dominate them.

My main concern with this bet is that Atlanta isn’t taking this matchup seriously enough. They are the only ones who can fight here. Fingers crossed they demolish the Marlins!
