The Pacers achieve their first road victory of the playoff in Milwaukee

The Pacers beat the Bucks this Tuesday in Milwaukee 108-125they tied this first round series of the East that now goes to Indiana 1-1 and managed to the first away victory in these ‘playoff’ of the NBA marked until now by the dominance of local teams.

After 12 games that ended with victory for the home teams, the Pacers broke that trend thanks to 37 points (huge 16 of 23 on field goals), 11 rebounds and 6 assists from Pascal Siakam. Myles Turner (22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks) and Andrew Nembhard (20 points) also stood out for Indiana, while Tyrese Haliburton had 12 points and 12 assists. Compared to their poor offensive performance in the first game, Rick Carlisle’s men shot 55.6% from the field and scored 52 points in the paint to Milwaukee’s 36.

In the Bucks, again without the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard was the top scorer with 34 points (26 of them in the first half). Brook López scored 22 points and Bobby Portis contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Indiana will host the next two games, which will be played on Friday and Sunday of this week.
