While the San Antonio Spurs had everything in place to lose tonight in the NBA by resting Victor Wembanyama, Team Z did not pull out all the stops and crushed the Detroit Pistons, definitely untouchable in the Tanking Race this year in the NBA. Even worse are the Charlotte Hornets. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Hornets calmly led their boats being dominated for three quarters before JB Bickerstaff became an enemy of the franchise and brought in the back of his bench for the last 12 minutes and let the victory slip away. A final period won 32 to 14 by the North Carolina franchise… inexcusable. These two victories did business for Portland who executed the plan brilliantly.
