Red Sparks captain Yeum Hye-seon is determined to win when facing Indonesia All Star. He became even more enthusiastic when he heard the words bonus!
Red Sparks will face Indonesia All Star on Saturday (20/4/2024) at the Indonesia Arena. Before the match, a press conference was held at the Mulia Hotel on Friday (19/4) today.
A funny moment was created after the event host, Valentino Simanjuntak, mentioned bonuses to representatives of the Central Management of the Indonesian Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI).
“Is there a bonus if the Indonesia All Stars win over Red Sparks tomorrow to get excited,” asked Valentino, who was then greeted with laughter by PBVSI.
The Deputy Secretary General of PP PBVSI, Gilang Iskandar, answered this question diplomatically. Gilang just hopes that the players can show their best even though this event is an exhibition.
“We hope that with the presence of Red Sparks and the launch of competitions run by the federation, new Megawatis will be present and more active, not only in Indonesia but abroad,” said Gilang.
The new Red Sparks captain Yeum Hye-seon apparently heard about the bonus. Previously, Yeum was asked about his team’s readiness and expected targets against Indonesia All Stars.
“We train to show the best performance and the most important thing is not to get hurt. And I think the best performance is that we win so maybe we can get a bonus,” said Hye-seon.
“The bonus doesn’t come from here,” said Valentino, to which Lee replied again that the bonus had to be given from Indonesia.
“I want a bonus here,” joked Hye-seon, who then laughed.
