The Rubiales case affects the Government

As published this diary, the Rubiales case has fully affected the Government of Pedro Sánchez. A report from the Civil Guard, to which LD has had access, includes the conversations intercepted at Tomás González Cuetoexternal lawyer of the Federation, which affects the general director of Sports of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), Fernando Molinero. González Cueto interceded with Molinero to try to keep Pedro Rocha in the presidency of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

The Armed Institute concludes that “Cueto would be insisting to Molinero for the approval of the Electoral Regulations sent to the CSD and the TAD in order to create the most favorable context for the election of Rocha as President, thus allowing Cueto to remain in office.” .
