Since the wing star has been out several times this season with knee and groin problems, alarm bells immediately rang for some fans. However, as the club announced, there is no reason to worry as Sané’s sudden departure was planned in advance due to load management. Kingsley Coman (27), who, like Sané, continued to train individually at the club headquarters after the first part of the team training, followed a similar program.

On the other hand, Raphaël Guerreiro (30/after a torn fiber in his thigh) and Aleksandar Pavlovic (19/after tonsillitis), who had been working individually on their comeback on the Monday off, were fully involved in Tuchel training for the first time.

For Manuel Neuer (38) the return to the team came too early. After torn muscle fibers in his adductors, which forced him to leave the DFB training course in Frankfurt on March 20th, he completed an individual 20-minute running session before the start of team training.

The only ones who didn’t take the field on Tuesday were Sacha Boey (23), who was working in the weight room for his comeback from a torn thigh muscle, Bouna Sarr (32/retraining after a torn cruciate ligament) and Noussair Mazraoui (26), who was out due to illness.
