Dillingham has entered into a contract with the Klutch Sports Group agency as their representative.

Kentucky finished in a tie for second place in the SEC with a record of 13-5. As a result, they were given a No. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately, their hopes were dashed in the round of 64 when they were defeated by No. 14 seed Oakland. This unexpected loss ultimately resulted in head coach John Calipari leaving for Arkansas, which was a surprising move during the offseason.

The NBA draft combine is scheduled for May 13-19 in Chicago, with the NBA draft taking place on June 26-27 in New York City. The first round will occur at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the second round will follow the next day at ESPN’s studio in lower Manhattan.

“When someone sets their mind to it, they can become exceptional. It all comes down to having confidence and channeling one’s mind.”

Although Dillingham was initially expected to be a first-round selection, he has proven to be the most skilled freshman in college basketball. Despite playing as a reserve and with certain restrictions, his speed and agility on the court, exceptional ball-handling skills, impressive passing and finishing abilities, and knack for making tough shots off the dribble from any spot on the court make him stand out as the most promising prospect in this draft.

Rob Dillingham, a freshman guard at Kentucky, revealed on Tuesday’s episode of “NBA Today” on ESPN that he will be participating in the 2024 NBA draft and giving up his remaining time as a college player.

It is inconsequential what pick number I am chosen, even if it is the 60th pick. My goal is to join a team that has faith in my abilities and can contribute to my growth, while I also contribute to theirs. I am determined to assist my team in winning and allow them to guide me and provide valuable lessons.

On Monday, Dillingham told ESPN that this was a choice that he, along with his family, had made. He believed he was ready and credited Coach Calipari for teaching him valuable lessons on being a supportive team member rather than focusing solely on himself.

According to Dillingham, the season had its ups and downs but also had several memorable moments. Despite having a young team, we were able to win many games. The experience taught me the importance of being a team player, which ultimately leads to victories. I have a lot of respect for Coach Cal and all that he has done for the Kentucky team. I believe he is a fantastic coach and will continue to be successful wherever he goes.
